Banks' risk-weighted assets reached 97.5 BTN bil in second quarter of 2016 in Bhutan, according to the National Central Bank. This is 3.22 % less than in the previous quarter.

Historically, banks' risk-weighted assets in Bhutan reached an all time high of 101 BTN bil in first quarter of 2016 and an all time low of 24.0 BTN bil in first quarter of 2009. When compared to Bhutan's main peers, banks' risk-weighted assets in China amounted to 104,410 CNY bil and 86,587 INR bil in India in second quarter of 2016.
