Banks' risk-weighted assets reached 719 XAF bil in first quarter of 2017 in Chad, according to the National Central Bank. This is 6.78 % less than in the previous quarter.

Historically, banks' risk-weighted assets in Chad reached an all time high of 771 XAF bil in fourth quarter of 2016 and an all time low of 225 XAF bil in first quarter of 2010. When compared to Chad's main peers, banks' risk-weighted assets in Cameroon amounted to 2,668 XAF bil and 21,859 NGN bil in Nigeria in first quarter of 2017.
