Banks' risk-weighted assets reached 72.0 PAB bil in second quarter of 2016 in Panama, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.25 % more than in the previous quarter.

Historically, banks' risk-weighted assets in Panama reached an all time high of 72.0 PAB bil in second quarter of 2016 and an all time low of 20.3 PAB bil in second quarter of 2005. When compared to Panama's main peers, banks' risk-weighted assets in Colombia amounted to 470,969 COP bil, 21,114 CRC bil in Costa Rica, 287 HNL bil in Honduras and 167 NIO bil in Nicaragua in second quarter of 2016.
