Banks' Risk-Weighted Assets (Local Currency) rose 9.89% yoy to GMD 11.5 bil in Gambia in 2Q2016

Banks' risk-weighted assets rose 9.89% yoy to GMD 11.5 bil in Gambia in 2Q2016, according to the National Central Bank. This is 2.29% more than in the previous quarter.

Historically, banks' risk-weighted assets in Gambia reached an all time high of GMD 12.8 bil in 4Q2014 and an all time low of GMD 3.87 bil in 3Q2005.

Gambia has been ranked 94th within the group of 100 countries we follow in terms of banks' risk-weighted assets, 75 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
