Banks' risk-weighted assets reached 2,778 XAF bil in fourth quarter of 2016 in Cameroon, according to the National Central Bank. This is 5.47 % more than in the previous quarter.

Historically, banks' risk-weighted assets in Cameroon reached an all time high of 2,778 XAF bil in fourth quarter of 2016 and an all time low of 1,349 XAF bil in third quarter of 2010. When compared to Cameroon's main peers, banks' risk-weighted assets in Central African Republic amounted to 112 XAF bil, 771 XAF bil in Chad, 1,671 XAF bil in Gabon and 21,049 NGN bil in Nigeria in fourth quarter of 2016.
