Historically, cereal production in Lebanon reached an all time high of 189 kt in 2006 and an all time low of 25.8 kt in 1984. When compared to Lebanon's main peers, cereal production in Cyprus amounted to 74.3 kt, 314 kt in Israel, 98.4 kt in Jordan and 4,305 kt in Syria in 2015.
