Historically, cereal production in Greece reached an all time high of 6,183 kt in 1991 and an all time low of 2,123 kt in 1963. When compared to Greece's main peers, cereal production in Albania amounted to 670 kt, 8,020 kt in Bulgaria, 536 kt in Macedonia and 36,449 kt in Turkey in 2015.
