Ceska Sporitelna's capital adequacy ratio reached 18.7% at the end of fourth quarter of 2017, up from when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 21.3% in 4Q2015 and an all time low of 9.40% in 4Q2007.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 18.1% at the end of fourth quarter of 2017, down from 19.5% compared to the same period of last year and up from when compared to the the previous quarter.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 72.3% at the end of 4Q2017, down from 73.2% when compared to the same period of last year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 69.6%.

When compared to bank's main peers, CSOB ended the fourth quarter of 2017 with a capital adequacy ratio at 17.2% and loans to deposits of 77.7%, Komercni Banka with 18.6% and 78.5% respectively and MONETA Money Bank some 17.4% in terms of capital adequacy and 87.4% of loans to deposits at the end of the fourth quarter of 2017.
