China Merchants Bank accounted for 2.30% of all retail deposits taken by banks in China at the end of 2015. Historically, the bank’s market share in retail deposits reached an all time high of 2.45% in 2009 and an all time low of 2.16% in 2013.
That's compared to a 2.75% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2015.
