Cigarette consumption per capita rose 2.32% to 926 per year in Latvia in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, cigarette consumption per capita in Latvia reached an all time high of 2,169 per year in 2007 and an all time low of 766 per year in 2012.

Latvia has been ranked 18th within the group of 30 countries we follow in terms of cigarette consumption per capita, 13 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
