Historically, CO2 emissions as a share of total worldwide CO2 emissions in India reached an all time high of 7.01% in 2017 and an all time low of 1.28% in 1960. When compared to India's main peers, CO2 emissions as a share of total worldwide CO2 emissions in Bangladesh amounted to 0.247%, 27.6% in China, 0.566% in Pakistan and 0.064% in Sri Lanka in 2017.
