Corporate Commercial Bank's non-performing loans reached 1.28% of total loans at the end of 2013, up from 0.560% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 1.28% in 2013 and an all time low of 0.183% in 2010.
Provision coverage amounted to 101% at the end of 2013, down from 173% compared to a year earlier.
The bank created loan loss provisions worth of 0.692% of average loans in 2013. That's compared to 0.506% of loans the bank put aside to its cost on average in the last five years.
When compared to bank's main peers, United Bulgarian Bank operated at the end of 2013 with NPL ratio of 19.4% and provision coverage of 81.7%, Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria with 12.7% and 78.3% respectively and UniCredit Bulbank had 15.8% of bad loans covered with 62.4% by provisions at the end of 2013.
