Corporate loans reached 14,816 INR bil in fourth quarter of 2016 in India, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.57 % less than in the previous quarter.

Historically, corporate loans in India reached an all time high of 15,812 INR bil in fourth quarter of 2015 and an all time low of 3,365 INR bil in first quarter of 2009. When compared to India's main peers, corporate loans in China amounted to 48,921 CNY bil and 3,446 PKR bil in Pakistan in fourth quarter of 2016.
