Deutsche Bank's capital adequacy ratio reached 17.4% at the end of fourth quarter of 2019, down from 17.4% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 20.8% in 1Q2008 and an all time low of 11.6% in 4Q2007.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 15.6% at the end of fourth quarter of 2019, down from 15.7% compared to the same period of last year and down from 15.6% when compared to the the previous quarter.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 75.2% at the end of 4Q2019, down from 76.1% when compared to the same period of last year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 75.0%.
