Electricity production from hydro sources reached 2,570 GWh in 2017 in Poland, according to World Bank / EIA. This is 20.1 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, electricity production from hydro sources in Poland reached an all time high of 2,920 GWh in 2010 and an all time low of 604 GWh in 1961. When compared to Poland's main peers, electricity production from hydro sources in Czech Republic amounted to 1,869 GWh, 19,700 GWh in Germany, 183,282 GWh in Russia and 8,653 GWh in Ukraine in 2017.
