Electricity production from natural gas sources per capita rose 8.28% to 1,291 kWh in the European Union in 2017, according to World Bank / EIA.

Historically, electricity production from natural gas sources per capita in the European Union reached an all time high of 1,580 kWh in 2008 and an all time low of 19.1 kWh in 1960.
