Electricity production from solar photovoltaic reached 410 GWh in 2017 in Hungary, according to World Bank / EIA. This is 104 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, electricity production from solar photovoltaic in Hungary reached an all time high of 410 GWh in 2017 and an all time low of 1.00 GWh in 2008. When compared to Hungary's main peers, electricity production from solar photovoltaic in Austria amounted to 1,335 GWh, 2,189 GWh in Czech Republic, 165 GWh in Poland and 592 GWh in Slovakia in 2017.
