Electricity production from wind power reached 2,850 GWh in 2017 in Norway, according to World Bank / EIA. This is 34.7 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, electricity production from wind power in Norway reached an all time high of 2,850 GWh in 2017 and an all time low of 7.00 GWh in 1993. When compared to Norway's main peers, electricity production from wind power in Denmark amounted to 14,777 GWh, 4,802 GWh in Finland, 8.13 GWh in Iceland and 17,328 GWh in Sweden in 2017.
