Erste Group Bank made a net profit of EUR 329 mil under revenues of EUR 1,732 mil in the fourth quarter of 2017, up 284% and 0.035% respectively when compared to the same period last year.
Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of EUR 826 mil in 3Q2008 and an all time low of EUR -1,494 mil in 3Q2011. The average profit in the last six quarters amounted to EUR 290 mil.
On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of EUR 2,087 mil in 3Q2010 and an all time low of EUR 482 mil in 1Q2001. The average revenues in the last six quarters reached EUR 1,674 mil.
When compared to bank's main peers, Raiffeisen Bank International generated a quarterly net profit of EUR 206 mil with revenues of EUR 1,252 mil in 4Q2017, OTP Group netted EUR 68,451 mil (revenues of EUR 227,649 mil) and PKO BP announced a net profit of EUR 820 mil (revenues of EUR 3,120 mil).
