České Dráhy - Workforce

Transport | Czechia | February 19, 2014
$2.99
Excel Sheet

In 1989, České Dráhy employed more than 162,000 people, not bad for a country of only 10 million inhabitants. Within two decades, however, the number of full-equivalent employees dropped by incredible 90% to fewer than 16,000 at the end of 2012.

The average personal cost at České Dráhy has risen to USD 3,427 per employee as of the 2012. This must exclude some of the Company's subsidiaries, we believe which might be hiding some of the "lost souls" and hidden cost savings...

Anyway, the main question remains the same - are the toilets on the Czech trains cleaner now than twenty years ago when there were 9 times more cleaner per toilet then now?
