Exports as a share of GDP rose 10.5% to 0.292% in Kosovo in 2019, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, exports as a share of GDP in Kosovo reached an all time high of 0.292% in 2019 and an all time low of 0.056% in 2003. When compared to Kosovo's main peers, exports as a share of GDP in Albania amounted to 0.316%, 0.623% in Macedonia, 0.437% in Montenegro and 0.510% in Serbia in 2019.
Kosovo has been ranked 102nd within the group of 150 countries we follow in terms of exports as a share of GDP, 45 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
