Historically, exports of services as a part of balance of payment in Malta reached an all time high of USD 17.0 bil in 2019 and an all time low of USD 0.082 bil in 1971. When compared to Malta's main peers, exports of services as a part of balance of payment in Greece amounted to USD 26.0 bil, USD 85.8 bil in Italy, USD 2.17 bil in Tunisia and USD 35.4 bil in Turkey in 2020.
Malta has been ranked 40th within the group of 143 countries we follow in terms of exports of services as a part of balance of payment, 11 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
