Exports of services as a part of balance of payment reached 3.80 USD bil in 2016 in Myanmar, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 8.54 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, exports of services as a part of balance of payment in Myanmar reached an all time high of 4.15 USD bil in 2017 and an all time low of 0.026 USD bil in 1978. When compared to Myanmar's main peers, exports of services as a part of balance of payment in China amounted to 208 USD bil, 162 USD bil in India, 0.831 USD bil in Laos and 67.7 USD bil in Thailand in 2016.
Myanmar has been ranked 83rd within the group of 156 countries we follow in terms of exports of services as a part of balance of payment, 48 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
