Historically, foreign debt in Swaziland reached an all time high of USD 699 bil in 2010 and an all time low of USD 32.6 bil in 1972. When compared to Swaziland's main peers, foreign debt in Botswana amounted to USD 1,740 bil, USD 936 bil in Lesotho, USD 12,010 bil in Mozambique and USD 176,335 bil in South Africa in 2017.
