Historically, foreign debt in Chad reached an all time high of USD 3,752 bil in 2014 and an all time low of USD 35.2 bil in 1970. When compared to Chad's main peers, foreign debt in Cameroon amounted to USD 10,396 bil, USD 3,323 bil in Niger, USD 40,238 bil in Nigeria and USD 21,754 bil in Sudan in 2017.
