Foreign debt rose 8.69% to USD 17,708 bil in Uzbekistan in 2017, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, foreign debt in Uzbekistan reached an all time high of USD 17,708 bil in 2017 and an all time low of USD 59.7 bil in 1992. When compared to Uzbekistan's main peers, foreign debt in Kazakhstan amounted to USD 167,485 bil, USD 8,161 bil in Kyrgyzstan, USD 5,881 bil in Tajikistan and USD 781 bil in Turkmenistan in 2017.
