Foreign trade as a share of GDP reached 37.3 % in 2017 in Kenya, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 1.36 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, foreign trade as a share of GDP in Kenya reached an all time high of 74.6 % in 1974 and an all time low of 36.8 % in 2016.
