Foreign trade as a share of GDP reached 78.1 % in 2017 in Albania, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 4.56 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, foreign trade as a share of GDP in Albania reached an all time high of 100 % in 1992 and an all time low of 30.5 % in 1986.
