Grape production reached 564 kt in 2015 in Afghanistan, according to Faostat. This is 24.2 % less than in the previous year.

Historically, grape production in Afghanistan reached an all time high of 745 kt in 2014 and an all time low of 225 kt in 1961. When compared to Afghanistan's main peers, grape production in Iran amounted to 2,103 kt, 64.7 kt in Pakistan, 166 kt in Tajikistan and 238 kt in Turkmenistan in 2015.
