Based on a comparison of 47 countries in 2018, South Sudan ranked the highest in population at risk of poverty as a share of total population with 82.3% followed by Honduras and Afghanistan. On the other end of the scale was Ukraine with 2.40%, Kazakhstan with 2.50% and China with 3.10%.
