Imports as a share of GDP fell 1.09% to 0.556% in Ukraine in 2017, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, imports as a share of GDP in Ukraine reached an all time high of 0.574% in 2000 and an all time low of 0.220% in 1992. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, imports as a share of GDP in Poland amounted to 0.503%, 0.436% in Romania and 0.207% in Russia in 2017.
