Imports as a share of GDP rose 7.26% to 0.781% in Lithuania in 2017, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, imports as a share of GDP in Lithuania reached an all time high of 90.4% in 1993 and an all time low of 0.424% in 1999. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, imports as a share of GDP in Belarus amounted to 0.671%, 0.720% in Estonia, 0.610% in Latvia and 0.207% in Russia in 2017.
