Historically, imports as a share of GDP in Lithuania reached an all time high of 90.4% in 1993 and an all time low of 0.424% in 1999. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, imports as a share of GDP in Belarus amounted to 0.671%, 0.720% in Estonia, 0.610% in Latvia and 0.207% in Russia in 2017.
Lithuania has been ranked 13th within the group of 163 countries we follow in terms of imports as a share of GDP, 23 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
