Historically, incidence of tuberculosis per 100,000 people in Zimbabwe reached an all time high of 682 persons in 1999 and an all time low of 199 persons in 2019. When compared to Zimbabwe's main peers, incidence of tuberculosis per 100,000 people in Botswana amounted to 253 persons, 361 persons in Mozambique, 615 persons in South Africa and 333 persons in Zambia in 2019.
Zimbabwe has been ranked 35th within the group of 175 countries we follow in terms of incidence of tuberculosis per 100,000 people, 18 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
