Danske Bank's capital adequacy ratio reached 21.3% at the end of 2018, down from 22.6% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 22.6% in 2017 and an all time low of 9.28% in 2007.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 20.1% at the end of 2018, down from 20.1% compared to a year earlier.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 199% at the end of 2018, up from 189% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 223%.
