Reliance Capital's non-performing loans reached 1.66% of total loans at the end of 2015, down from 1.88% compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 2.91% in 2008 and an all time low of 0.412% in 2007.
Provision coverage amounted to 21.6% at the end of 2015, up from 21.6% compared to a year earlier.
The bank created loan loss provisions worth of 0.464% of average loans in 2015. That's compared to 0.707% of loans the bank put aside to its cost on average in the last five years.
