Comparing Raiffeisen Bank Int. with its closest peers, Erste Group Bank operated in 2016 with a net interest margin of 2.17% BAWAG Group reached 1.93% and Kärntner Sparkasse some 1.84%.
The average net interest margin reached 1.00% in the Austrian banking sector in 2016 while interest spread amounted to 4.98%.
