Based on a comparison of 19 banks in Russia in 2016, Raiffeisenbank Russia was the best capitalised bank, followed by Rusfinance Bank and Rosbank.

Raiffeisenbank Russia's capital adequacy ratio reached 26.3%, up from 20.6% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 26.3% in 2016 and an all time low of 11.2% in 2007.
