Based on a comparison of 12 banks among CEE Savings Banks in 2017, Sberbank generated the largest revenues, followed by Erste Group Bank and PKO BP.

Sberbank reported total revenues of EUR 29,790 mil, up 20.7% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of EUR 47,434 mil in 1996 and an all time low of EUR 3,425 mil in 2003. The average revenue in the last five years amounted to EUR 26,480 mil.

Bank's total revenues accounted for 7.24% of total assets in 2017, up from 7.22% a year earlier.

Comparing Sberbank with its closest peers, Erste Group Bank generated total revenues of EUR 7,378 mil, or 3.34% of assets in 2017, PKO BP operated with EUR 3,199 mil total income, or 4.60% revenue margin and OTP Group produced total income worth EUR 3,017 mil, or 7.09% of assets.
