Interest rate on bank loans fell 2.80% to 6.91% in Zimbabwe in 2017, according to the National Central Bank.

Historically, interest rate on bank loans in Zimbabwe reached an all time high of 1,175% in 2008 and an all time low of 6.91% in 2017. When compared to Zimbabwe's main peers, interest rate on bank loans in Botswana amounted to 6.88%, 27.9% in Mozambique, 10.4% in South Africa and 12.4% in Zambia in 2017.
