Historically, interest rate on bank loans in Botswana reached an all time high of 24.2% in 1982 and an all time low of 6.40% in 2019. When compared to Botswana's main peers, interest rate on bank loans in Namibia amounted to 9.88%, 10.1% in South Africa, 10.3% in Zambia and 16.2% in Zimbabwe in 2019.
