Expenditure of international tourism reached 5,323 USD mil in 2016 in Ukraine, according to Eurostat. This is 12.1 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Ukraine reached an all time high of 6,300 USD mil in 2013 and an all time low of 210 USD mil in 1995. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, expenditure of international tourism in Poland amounted to 8,617 USD mil, 2,469 USD mil in Romania and 27,652 USD mil in Russia in 2016.

Ukraine has been ranked 40th within the group of 146 countries we follow in terms of expenditure of international tourism, 5 places above the position seen 10 years ago.

International tourism expenditure is the expenditure of international outbound visitors in other countries, including payments to foreign carriers for international transport.
