Expenditure of international tourism reached 11,267 USD mil in 2016 in Thailand, according to Eurostat. This is 18.1 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Thailand reached an all time high of 11,267 USD mil in 2016 and an all time low of 2,246 USD mil in 1998. When compared to Thailand's main peers, expenditure of international tourism in Cambodia amounted to 740 USD mil, 540 USD mil in Laos, 10,468 USD mil in Malaysia and 584 USD mil in Myanmar in 2016.
