Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Georgia reached an all time high of USD 853 mil in 2017 and an all time low of USD 129 mil in 2000. When compared to Georgia's main peers, expenditure of international tourism in Armenia amounted to USD 1,325 mil, USD 2,803 mil in Azerbaijan, USD 35,585 mil in Russia and USD 5,181 mil in Turkey in 2017.
Georgia has been ranked 92nd within the group of 145 countries we follow in terms of expenditure of international tourism, 20 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
