Based on a comparison of 46 countries in 2012, France ranked the highest in life expectancy at 65 years for both sexes with 21.4 years followed by Switzerland and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Kazakhstan with 14.1 years, Tajikistan with 14.3 years and Kyrgyzstan with 14.4 years.
