KBC Group's capital adequacy ratio reached 19.6% at the end of 2019, up from 19.2% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 20.6% in 2016 and an all time low of 11.5% in 1998.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 17.6% at the end of 2019, up from 17.0% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 84.3% at the end of 2019, up from 83.2% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 103%.
