Historically, kerosene consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Iraq reached an all time high of 6.28% in 2015 and an all time low of 0.744% in 1991. When compared to Iraq's main peers, kerosene consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Iran amounted to 15.3%, 0.190% in Kuwait, 1.82% in Saudi Arabia and 0.010% in Syria in 2015.
