Kostelecke Uzeniny, a.s. is the largest processor of meat and meat products in the Czech Republic. The Company produces various types of processed meat in the fresh or smoked forms, sausages, ham, etc. mainly from pork, beef and chicken meat.
In 2012, the Company had 1,426 employees, roughly the same as a decade ago. In the very same decade, however, average staff cost nearly trippled to USD 1,637 per employee and month.
