Life expectancy for both sexes rose 0.111% to 70.2 years in Iraq in 2022, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, life expectancy for both sexes in Iraq reached an all time high of 71.6 years in 2019 and an all time low of 37.9 years in 1955.
