Lower-medium cars as a share of new cars sold fell 6.63% to 28.2% in Belgium in 2016, according to ACEA.

Historically, lower-medium cars as a share of new cars sold in Belgium reached an all time high of 32.8% in 2007 and an all time low of 28.2% in 2016. When compared to Belgium's main peers, lower-medium cars as a share of new cars sold in France amounted to 27.7%, 32.8% in Germany, 27.8% in Luxembourg and 24.5% in Netherlands in 2016.
