Added value in manufacturing as a share of GDP reached 3.86 % in 1983 in Ghana, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 64.6 % less than in the previous year.

Historically, added value in manufacturing as a share of GDP in Ghana reached an all time high of 14.0 % in 1975 and an all time low of 3.61 % in 1982. When compared to Ghana's main peers, added value in manufacturing as a share of GDP in Benin amounted to 8.67 % and 6.75 % in Togo in 1983.
